Richest provinces have mediocre criminal justice systems, report finds

Canada's justice system scores high on being slow, expensive and inefficient in a report card issued today by the Macdonald-Laurier Institute. It graded provinces and territories on public safety, victims' support, efficiency, fairness and access to justice, and costs and resources.
