The iPhone 13 Pro Max and the iPhone 13 Pro are Apple’s latest top-end iPhones. Part of the newly announced iPhone 13 series featuring the iPhone 13 and the iPhone 13 Mini, the smartphones packs the A15 Bionic chip and runs on iOS 15. The phones will go on sale beginning September 24th, while the pre-orders kick off on September 17th. If you’re planning to buy the new iPhones, you should know there are four storage variants this year, including a new 1TB model. You’ll still get 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB sizes as well.
The Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max and the 13 Pro will come in both carrier-locked and unlocked variants. While the official Apple online store, Amazon, and Best Buy will sell the unlocked models, the carrier variants will be offered by the individual online stores of the carriers, the Apple Online Store, and select third-party retailers.

Apple Online Store
You can order the unlocked and SIM-free iPhone 13 Pro and the iPhone 13 Pro Max from the official Apple online store in any of four color options and storage variants. In addition, the store gives a clear estimate of when your iPhone will ship. In terms of the promotion, you can reduce the cost of your new iPhone by trading in your older phone. Unfortunately, only select phones from Google, Samsung, and LG are accepted apart from the older iPhones. But you’ll be able to save up to $1,000.

The variants of all three major telecom operators — AT&T, T-Mobile/ Sprint, and Verizon — are available. While you won’t get any price discounts, trade-in offers are present. Both Apple and carriers give benefits if you buy a carrier model from the store.
- The Apple online store supports both one-time payments and monthly installments for iPhone purchases. However, the latter is only available to Apple Card users.
AT&T
New and existing AT&T subscribers can get up to $1,000 off the iPhone 13 Pro and the 13 Pro Max as bill credits. You’ll need to purchase the phone on an installment plan, trade in an old smartphone, and get an unlimited plan for the bill credits. Depending on the value of your trade-in, the bill credits will vary.

Verizon
Verizon is giving up to $800 as bill credits if you purchase the new iPhone 13 Pro or Pro Max from them. You’ll need to trade in your old phone and pick one of the eligible unlimited plans for this offer. The carrier will also give up to $500 to you if you port your number to it. There are no price discounts on the phones right now.
T-Mobile
Like AT&T, T-Mobile is also giving up to $1,000 as bill credits on the iPhone 13 Pro and the iPhone 13 Pro Max purchases. You’ll need to get the Magenta MAX, Magenta Plus, One Plus, Sprint MAX, Plus, or Premium UNL service and trade in an eligible old smartphone to get these bill credits. The amount of bill credits will also depend on the trade-in value of your old phone.
